Navoi Hospital №4
Development of IT Infrastructure to Improve Patient Care
Numeral, with the financial assistance of a local foundation, has recently provided essential IT hardware, including computers, printers and uninterruptible-power-supply units, for Navoi Hospital №4.
Built in 2014, the hospital is located in Navoi and provides healthcare services to over 37,000 of patients. The hospital’s outdated infrastructure greatly impacted its ability to provide efficient and quality care. With a large number of patients, it grew increasingly difficult to keep up with the demand from nearby neighborhoods and communities. Attempts to manage patient data, keep track of health conditions and trends, and optimize internal processes proved extremely challenging given the absence of even the most basic IT equipment.

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated these issues further. The hospital experienced an influx of patients, which eventually led to a bed shortage. Further, the hospital’s lack of digital infrastructure increased the virus spread and exposure to not only its patients but also staff.
When Numeral learned of the hospital’s need, our team procured the necessary equipment that would enable the hospital to optimize its operations. The next step in the hospital’s digital transformation is the development of a medical database for its patients.
